|
Kathryn Hack, a Seattle writer and marketing communications consultant, says:
Kathryn Hack's web site is: |
"Paul Carr is a marvellous storyteller, and "The Wonderful Gift of Yule" expresses his belief that children truly need a Santa Claus. The wonder of Christmas would be lost forever, if not for his magical elves, flying reindeer and unconditional love. "In a world threatened by high tech and the politically correct, we need to preserve this legend of hope for our children. Paul Carr re-invents it with all the majesty it deserves. His fresh, new approach with The Wonderful Gift of Yule promises to become a classic in our time." |

Dr. Pat Baccili, Host of "Crustbusting", a radio show, author and lecturer (KKNW1150AM): Dr. Pat Baccili's web site is: |
"What I experienced in reading the book, and listening to the CD, was love...magic...angels, elves, laughter, and even tears, hope... and ending up with believing we get the experience, the love and joy we create in this world. It touched me at a very young, and very wise, place. "The reading of this is beautiful. All you have to do is put the CD in, and you are transported to another place. "...You need to get a copy off to Steven Spielberg" |

| Mary Jo Tyrholm, mother of 7 year old boy: |
The chapter form is terrific for reading to children. And the twelve chapters can be read one on each of the twelve days of Christmas. Although, parents will be hard pressed by their children to read on! I also feel this is an excellent poem for Christmas school programs, especially in the elementary grade school levels, as it answers so many of the questions that children ask us about Santa Claus and the North Pole, that quite frankly most of us don't know how to answer! |
