Paul S. Carr III is a Seattle-area singer, song-writer, and poet who for years also did audio Internet voiceovers. A past Executive Director of the Independent Brokers Association, and former real estate company owner and managing broker, Paul has been a finalist in both the mainstream novel and poetry categories in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association competition. He placed third in the novel category in 2002. Additionally, Paul, and his wife, Libby, spent 2007 and 2008 as co-chairs of the Seattle Statue of Liberty Plaza Project.

Over the years, Paul has played guitar and sung, individually and in groups and bands, in everything from church settings to public establishments that only dynamiting would improve. He has also sung in such diverse venues as the World Choir for the 25th anniversary of the United Nations, Sacramento Chorus, and on stage in productions of "Godspell", "Fiddler On The Roof", and "Roar of the Greasepaint, Smell of the Crowd", as well as coffee houses, weddings, funerals, and other local public gatherings, including FolkLife in Seattle.

As a writer, Paul has ventured into just about every form of written work. He is currently working on a sequel to "The Wonderful Gift of Yule", as well as a series of short children's books, in poetry form, about the adventures of their cat, Tux. Paul, Libby, and Tux live at Alki Beach in Seattle, Washington.

"The Wonderful Gift Of Yule" began as an "I wonder if I could..." exercise in writing long poetry, and turned into a fascination with the story of Santa Claus and the faith of children. If you wish, this web site contains more information on how this project began and why it is important. For further information or comments, please email Paul.
